Something broken, or an idea? Email itay@selltech.io. One person reads it, usually within a day.

The palette does not open

Rico only works inside a Gmail compose or reply window — not the inbox. Start a reply first, then press Ctrl+Shift+K (⌘⇧K on a Mac).

If you have just installed or updated it, reload the Gmail tab. Rico is injected when the page loads, so an already-open tab is still running the old copy or none at all.

The shortcut clashes with something

Open the Rico icon in your toolbar → Settings → pick another one. Ctrl+K is offered but is Gmail's own Insert Link shortcut, so taking it costs you that. There is also Alt+Shift+K as a backup, changeable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

My snippet went in but the draft saved without it

This should not happen — Rico inserts through the browser's own editing pipeline so that Gmail's autosave sees it. If you hit it, please email me the snippet and whether it had line breaks in it. That is a real bug and I want it.

{FirstName} is asking me instead of filling itself

Automatic fill is a Pro feature; on the free tier Rico prompts you. It also declines to guess when the recipient is a shared mailbox like support@, or an address too short to read a name from — greeting someone by the wrong name is worse than not greeting them.

Rico keeps offering to save things I do not want

Click Never on the card and that paragraph will not come back. To turn the whole feature off: Rico icon → Settings → untick the suggestions box.

I have snippets on another machine

Rico uses Chrome's own sync. Sign into the same Chrome profile with sync on and they arrive. If sync is off or full, snippets stay on the machine they were made on — nothing is lost, it just does not travel. Settings → Export JSON moves them by hand.

I paid and Rico still says Free

Open the Rico icon and close it again — it re-checks on open. If it still says Free after a minute, email me the address you paid with and I will sort it out directly.

Refunds

Ask within 30 days and you get your money back, no questions. Email itay@selltech.io.

Removing Rico

Right-click the icon → Remove from Chrome. Your snippets go with it. Export them first from Settings if you want to keep them.
